I'm guess I'm a disillusioned, disenfranchised and mostly concerned thirty-something parent, who is struggling to see our way out of the quagmire that the current government has thrown us into. They seem to be impervious to almost anything ( including prosecution and sacking from their jobs for fraud and tax evasion ) in their ivory tower and whilst most of us are struggling to put a roof over our heads and food on the table, they've just returned from 12 weeks paid holiday ( how the other half live ) and MIGHT actually have to pay back some of the money they fraudulently claimed in the last 5 years!

I'm sick of this government ( not that I think any other government would be any better - they've all proved they're corrupt money grabbers out to suck every last penny out of the public coffers that they can ) and I think that we ( the public ) need to stand up and start being counted and take action against these people that have broken the law if no-one else will!

It appears obvious to me that everyone is scared of actually taking an MP to court? I could think of no better justice for an MP than being judged by a jury made up of true, honest and decent working class people - what do you think the outcome would be?
GUILTY ME THINKS ME LORD - the only possible outcome for the prosecution of any corrupt MP!

I would love to start a campaign to raise money to take out private prosecutions against these corrupt individuals and actually have some justice served for the public and put some money back into the public purse.

I just hate to see these people living the high-life and making money through tax evasion and fraudulent expenses claims at the cost to the tax payer who works hard, declares ALL his/her income and is subject to the Laws of the Land.

I'm sick of seeing smarmy, bloated, over-weight and over-paid politicians telling us:

• how hard it is to survive on an MPs pay
• how we're all in the current economic crisis together
• how we've all got to tighten OUR belts ( when their ever expanding waist lines are more noticeable than ever )
• how we've all got to pull together for the betterment of the country and how we're best placed to ride out the recession!
• how they've done nothing wrong in " flipping " their houses
• how their expenses claims are legitimate and within the rules and guidelines
• how their doing their best to make the working man's life easier and better
• how they know how the public feel about the expenses row

I'm sick of seeing politicians skirt around the truth and never actually answer the questions that are asked on both radio and TV.

I'm sick of political spin and the petty squabbling and quibbling that goes on between the political parties.

I'm sick of Gordon Brown selling off our gold reserves at the bottom of the market and the pension timebomb he's created for my parents and the millions of other people with private pensions that are now worth a fraction of their originally predicted figures.

I'm sick of worrying about what sort of future my children will have under any government in the UK.
